We are happy to conduct joint activities. These include a guided tour of the city of Hlidesheim and the surrounding area with the most beautiful sights (World Heritage site), Marienburg Castle or the capital of Lower Saxony, Hanover. We also cook and eat together. In addition, a bicycle can be provided for small bike tours in our beautiful nature around Hildesheim. You will live in a small house with a beautiful garden near the city and a small forest. The house has stairs and is not barrier-free.

We are two Zontians (Regina Blum and Dr. Maria Bergmann) und like to offer a guided tour to the City of Frankfurt (25 km away von Seligenstadt) and to Aschaffenburg, a small nice town at the river Main and a beautiful castle. Our club is in Seligenstadt, also a nice historical village with half-timbered houses. We wood like to cook and eat all together. We also will arrange a meeting with all Zontians from our club in Seligenstadt. So we look forward to some interesting days with our friends from all over the world. The offered overnight stay is in Hainstadt, 4 km from Seligenstadt. Therefore it makes sense to make a guided tour out of it because of the transport. Should someone prefer to stay in a hotel but want to join our excursions, no problem either. There are several hotels in Seligenstadt. If applicable RS

You will stay in an appartment house from the Wilhelminian era, which is located close to the city. Our room offers an en suite bathroom. The room has a queen sized bed. I will spend time being your guide during the weekend. You can chose what you want to see.

You’ll stay in a original „Bauhaus“ (listest as a monumnet from 1930) with your own bathroom on the 2nd floor without lift, facing the „Arthur-Brettschneider Park“. There are 2 tram lines near by which will bring you in 10-15 min. to the very center, by foot it takes 45 min. We have no pets. Of course we will offer a guided tour through Leipzig. As we are interested in contemporary art, we can organize a guided tour through the contemporary arts museum – gfzk (www.gfzk.de) or some galleries in the „Spinnerei“ (www.spinnerei.de). Afterwards we might go to one of the very good restaurants in town or cook and eat together.

Köln – Cologne is one of the oldest cities in Germany. It was a Roman castellum. Today Köln is a huge but very lively metropolis at the shores of the Rhine River. We offer You guided tours at the Cathedral (www.koelner-dom.de) and other old churches (www.romanische-kirchen-koeln.de), a tour around the city „Cologne Women in History“ and to many museums such as the Wallraff Reicharts (www.wallraff.museum), the Museum Ludwig (www.museum-ludwig.de) and, of course, a boat tour (www.k-d.com). We offer single or double rooms all around the city before and after the International Convention. A fully equipped Apartment in the popular "Südstadt", 4th floor without elevator. A nice and cosey room in a historical town-house. June 18th-21st: a room for one Zontian. June 18th - 23th: - a nice room in the south of the city with a big garden or a room for a couple in a diverse suburb. June 29th - July 3rd: - a room in a 100 yrs old house in a suburb with a separate bathroom (not barrier-free).

Frankfurt am Main

Frankfurt airport is the largest in Germany and we want to offer a 3 day program for all Zontians flying into Frankfurt. From June 20th-22nd we will show you Wiesbaden and the Rheingau (Day 1), Bad Homburg a lovely town next to the Taunus mountains about 20 km north of Frankfurt (Day 2) and Frankfurt itself (Day 3). 

You can pick single days or all 3 days and will be guided by various Zontians in the Rhein-Main area. We are very much looking forward to seeing you in the Frankfurt area. Traveling to Hamburg from Frankfurt is best by train and only takes about 4 hours.
